Day 16: Prayer reveals

Our anchor scripture for today is found in Matthew 6: 12 (NET) and it reads: “and forgive us our debts, as we ourselves have forgiven our debtors.”  The topic of forgiveness gets introduced in verse 12 of Matthew Chapter 6 , but is further explained in verse 14-15 which reads: “For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.  This is an important principle to learn that our horizontal relationships with people impact our vertical relationship with God!
