Drawing from 1 Peter 2:9-10, we wrestle with an honest question many of us carry: how can we be God's "chosen" when life still brings suffering, loss, and doubt? The answer isn't found in what we've earned but in God's unmerited grace, He chose us, made us His people, and showed us mercy, all through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our identity as the chosen doesn't come from our works; it's a free gift, and the natural response is a changed life that declares His goodness even in the hardest seasons.
