21 days Prayer & Fasting:
Day 13: Prayer precedes, yet requires action
Our anchor scripture for today is found in Matthew 6: 10 (NET), which reads: “may your kingdom come, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Jesus asks us here to pray that the Kingdom of God and his will be done on earth as it is in heaven. In the same chapter, Jesus would later say that we should seek first the Kingdom of God above all else. Jesus is our example; he not only prayed but he also did. He allowed God to use him to restore heaven here on earth. God brought healing through him, deliverance through him, hope through him. God did the same through the Apostles and the early church. God wants to do the same with us.
