21 days Prayer & Fasting:
​Day 15: Prayer requires repentance

Our anchor scripture for today is found in Matthew 6: 12 (NET) and it reads: “and forgive us our debts, as we ourselves have forgiven our debtors.”  In verse 12 of Matthew chapter 6 Jesus continues to model to the disciples how they ought to pray. Jesus’ message to his disciples here was that prayer requires an act of repentance, a time in which we confess our sins before God and ask for His forgiveness. This is necessary because our God is Holy and sin hinders our prayers from being answered (Isaiah 59:2)
