Day 7: Praise and Worship

Our anchor scripture for today is found in Matthew 6: 9 (NET) and it reads: “​So, pray this way:​ ​Our Father​ ​in heaven, may your name be honored” Today, we notice that Jesus teaches his disciples to honor the name of the Lord when they pray. What is in a name? For one, a name signifies identity. For example, when Moses encountered God, he asked for a name so the Israelites would know who sent him (Exodus 3:14).
