The 7 Statements of Jesus:
I AM: The Bread of Life

Who is Jesus really? Many in our culture have no problem acknowledging the humanity of Jesus as a great moral teacher or spiritual leader. However, when we begin to examine how Jesus described Himself, we discover very quickly that not only is He human, but also that He is God. If Jesus is God and He is, this bears significant implications: the only right response is to either crown Him as King and Lord of our lives or crucify Him. So then, over the next 7 weeks, we will be looking at the 7 ” I AM” statements in the book of John. We pray that as we behold Jesus afresh, we will come to believe that Jesus truly is the Son of God, the Messiah and the one we have been waiting for and that by believing in Him, we will have life in His name ( John 20:31).
