JOY: AN ADVENT SERIES

The Advent season is the season of the year where Christians worldwide prepare to commemorate the birth of Jesus into the world and anticipate his second coming for his final return. This season of reflection is designed to help us push past the commercialization of Christmas and instead help us remember our need for salvation while we wait for the renewal and restoration our King Jesus will bring when he comes again. Our prayer this season is that as we are reminded afresh of the miracle of the incarnation of Christ, the Holy Spirit will help us to see the hope, peace, joy and love that Jesus brings and that we would in turn to “glorify and praise God for all we have seen and heard”.
